Best New Addition to Downtown Winter Park Hideaway Station
In addition to the Fireside Market building, Phase 1 of the Hideaway Station Development also includes a 7,600 SF free-standing retail building that is the current home for three local businesses.
​
A familiar palette of natural materials is further complemented by the russet hues of corrugated metal cladding and roof panels, which were permitted to age naturally in the mountain climates.
​
An important design feature of this retail building is a covered walkway that creates a pedestrian link along the western edge of the site to protect residents of the Phase 2 buildings from the elements as they walk to the market.
